This article provides updated estimates of aggregate contributions to private (non-state) pension schemes from 1995 to 2007.
This article presents estimates of aggregate contributions to private (non-state) pension schemes in the public and private sectors from 1995 to 2007. Seperate estimates are presented for funded and unfunded occupational pension schemes and for personal pension schemes. The article also describes changes to the methodology used in earlier ONS articles on this subject, and compares the results for funded occupational pension schemes with information in the UK National Accounts.
