This article is part of a series of annual articles published in Economic Trends that aims to regularly monitor the reliability of the GDP estimates. It presents the results of the latest GDP revisions analysis, updating the previous article published in January 2005.
It investigates the change from the first to the latest estimate of quarterly GDP growth. Quarterly growth rates for the main components of the expenditure and production measures of GDP are analysed as last year, but in addition this year analysis of the main components of the income approach is also introduced.
