This research, sponsored by DTI, links tens of thousands of firm surveys carried out by ONS. It uses data on sales and value added by firms, investment in IT and other assets, employee numbers, pay and skills, purchases IT and telecoms services, ownership and multi-national links, employee and business use of computers and on e-commerce and e-business activity.
