The aim of this research is to bring together a range of interdependent metrics on ICT use in a single framework, to study the relationship between them, and assess their impact on firm level productivity. This is the first study to bring toghether such a wide range of IT and CT metrics, one of its intended effects is to put the 'C' into ICT.
Analysis has been conducted for major sectors across the UK economy to help policy makers assess which metrics should be targeted for measurement and relative importance in terms of productivity impact.
This is one of four reports carried out in 2005 that describe studies into the links between productivity and ICT. The others can be linked to from the related links box to the right of this page.
