This article presents the results of a new benchmark model for owner occupier's imputed rents in the National Accounts.
This new benchmark uses data from the 2001 Census and various household surveys. It causes minor revisions to the owner occupier's imputed rent series (less than 0.2 per cent in 2001) which will be taken on in the 2005 Blue Book.
