Collecting data on country of birth

Country of birth is another component that is related to ethnic group. So a question on this may also prove useful, depending on data requirements.

The 2001 Census 'country of birth' questions are shown below and it should be noted the options were UK countries, plus the Republic of Ireland and an 'Elsewhere' category with a write-in box.
