Subsection DJ total turnover has increased by 7.6 per cent from £43.30 billion in 2005 to £46.59 billion in 2006.
Within 27.4 (manufacture of basic precious and other non-ferrous metals) total turnover has increased by 19.6 per cent from £4.96 billion in 2005 to £5.93 billion in 2006.
Subsection DJ approximate Gross Value Added (GVA) at basic prices has increased by 8.8 per cent from £15.42 billion in 2005 to £16.77 billion in 2006. The movement of GVA is shown in the following graph:
