Subsection DI total turnover has increased by 17.2 per cent from £13.48 billion in 2006 to £15.80 billion in 2007.
Within 26.6 (manufacture of articles of concrete, plaster and cement) total turnover has increased by 40.9 per cent from £5.26 billion in 2006 to £7.41 billion in 2007.
Subsection DI approximate Gross Value Added (GVA) at basic prices has increased by 11.1 per cent from £5.50 billion in 2006 to £6.11 billion in 2007. The movement of GVA is shown in the following graph:
