Subsection DC total turnover has increased by 1.3 per cent from £0.76 billion in 2006 to £0.77 billion in 2007.
Within 19.2 (manufacture of luggage, handbags and the like, saddlery and harness) total turnover has increased by 23.8 per cent from £0.21 billion in 2006 to £0.26 billion in 2007. The number of businesses has decreased by 2.5 per cent from 405 to 395 in the same period.
Subsection DC approximate Gross Value Added (GVA) at basic prices has decreased by 3.4 per cent from £0.29 billion in 2006 to £0.28 billion in 2007. The movement of GVA is shown in the following graph:
