Section O total turnover has increased by 7.4 per cent from £131.07 billion in 2006 to £140.73 billion in 2007.
Within 92.1 (motion picture and video activities) total turnover has decreased by 11.9 per cent from £6.79 billion in 2006 to £5.98 billion in 2007. The number of businesses has increased by 4.0 per cent from 8,341 to 8,678.
Section O approximate Gross Value Added (GVA) at basic prices has increased by 1.4 per cent from £40.62 billion in 2006 to £41.20 billion in 2007. The movement of GVA is shown in the following graph
