Still births, perinatal mortality and infant mortality: Regional Trends 38
Rates of still births, perinatal mortality and infant mortality are provided in this table. On 1 October 1992 the legal definition of a still birth was altered from a baby born dead after 28 completed weeks gestation or more to one born dead after 24 weeks gestation or more. Figures are given on both the old and new definitions for continuity/comparison.
