		Producer Prices (PPI) Product   A comprehensive selection of data on input and output index series. Contains producer price indices of materials and fuels purchased and output of manufacturing industry by broad sector. Index numbers shown are on a net sector basis. The index for any sector relates only to transactions between that sector and other sectors. The index for materials and fuels purchased by manufacturing industry is subject to large seasonal fluctuations. These mainly reflect variations in the cost of industrial electricity arising from the structure of the electricity supply companies' tariffs and in prices of materials purchased by the food manufacturing industry.
