Contains analysis and data on output per worker, output per filled job and output per hour for the whole economy, and output per filled job and output per hour for production, manufacturing and manufacturing sub-sections. Unit wage costs data for the whole economy and manufacturing are available. Annual regional data are also included.
This First Release gives details of output per worker, output per job, output per hour and unit wage costs for the whole economy of the UK.
Throughout the release, productivity refers to output per worker unless stated otherwise. Growth refers to the change between a quarter and a quarter a year ago while quarterly growth refers to the change between a quarter and the previous quarter.
