The national population projections reference volume (series PP2) presents the results of the population projections for the United Kingdom and its constituent countries by age and sex. The latest edition (no. 26) is based on the results of the 2006-based population projections which were prepared by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) in consultation with the statistical offices of the constituent countries.
