		Triennial Review of Quarterly Survey of Internet Service Providers Product   Standing instructions on the control of statistical surveys require that regular quarterly surveys to businesses and local authorities be reviewed at least once every three years. The survey measures the number of Internet connections in the UK to produce the Index of Internet Connectivity. It was developed in response to a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) white paper to help monitor the UK's use of ecommerce and its progress towards making the UK 'the best environment in the world to do e-commerce'.
