This table is taken from Table 2.2 of Population Trends. It contains key demographic and health indicators for the constituent countries of the United Kingdom. Figures are provided in thousands and expressed as rates or mean ages.
Death figures for England and Wales represent the number of deaths registered in each year up to 1992, and the number of deaths occurring in each year from 1993 to 2005. Death figures for 2006 onwards relate to registrations.
