The DCA collates data on county court civil proceedings in England and Wales.

Data are available by the number of proceedings started, dealt with and outstanding, and enforcement proceedings. They are supplemented by a regular sample survey of cases set down for trial in county courts, to obtain information on nature of claim, type of litigant, value of judgement and waiting times.

Data are also available at Judicial Circuit and Judicial Group level, and for individual county courts on request. Data are published annually from 1975 and available in the summer of the following year. Monthly data are available from 1987.
