		Trends in ONS Longitudinal Study estimates of life expectancy, by social class 1972-2005 Product   Provides figures on trends in expectation of life by social class in England and Wales over the period 1972 to 2005. These figures update the life expectancy estimates previously published in November 2006, which covered the period 1972-2001. Supplementary tables contain the age-specific mortality rates at adult ages by social class that were used to calculate the latest life expectancy estimates. These tables replace the previous ones which showed the mortality rates underlying the previous life expectancy estimates up to 2001.
