		Estimates of Household Population for England and Wales (experimental) Product   Mid-2001 to Mid-2008 estimates of household population at national level by broad age group (0-17, 18-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+), gender and Government Office Region for England and Wales available on an experimental basis. These statistics have been produced in response to the need for estimates of the household population in grossing studies. The experimental status reflects the fact that this is a new product. A methodological guide, and commentary on the statistics are also available. Definition of household population: The estimated household population of an area includes only those residents living in private households, and excludes the residents of communal/ institutional establishments.
